Enhancements to AastraLink Pro(TM) 160 and Launch of myAastra(TM), a
Free Hosted Services Offering

service enhancement initiatives for Small Business at the Internet
Telephony Conference and Expo.
The announcements include the launch of the Aastra MBU 400, a new
DECT cordless system offering Small Business a cost effective mobility
solution; a significant software release for the AastraLink Pro(TM)
160 IP Key System that includes shared line appearance, and the
introduction of a free hosted services offering called myAastra(TM)
that provides access to a set of web based applications and features
enhancing the capabilities of Aastra SIP phones. All of these

communication products for the SMB market.
Aastra MBU 400 - DECT Mobility Solution
The Aastra MBU 400 is an affordable and flexible multi-handset
DECT mobility solution for the SMB market. It supports eight SIP
trunks and one analog trunk/line and can handle up to eight Aastra
420d handsets. These attractive handsets feature color displays,
polyphonic ringtones, vibrate functionality and all of the mobility
features small business users are looking for. In addition, the Aastra
MBU 400 comes with a DECT 6.0 gateway offering an FXO port, and
tightly integrates with the AastraLink Pro(TM) 160, allowing customers
a single tool for the administration of a complete Aastra system of
SIP terminals and DECT handsets. The Aastra MBU 400 will be available
in early November.
AastraLink Pro(TM) 160 - IP Key System, Release 1.2
Firmware release 1.2, scheduled for release in early November,
offers significant feature upgrades that increase the flexibility and
functionality of the AastraLink Pro(TM) 160. Among the enhancements
are key system emulation of shared line appearance using the FXO
ports, single digit IVR assignment, zone paging, simplified SIP trunk
dialing options, meet-me conferencing, and integration with the Aastra
MBU 400. All combined, these additional new features create a very
powerful IP Key system delivering enterprise PBX features for the
small business market of 25 users or less.
myAastra(TM) - Free Hosted Services
myAastra(TM) is an evolving set of free hosted services and
applications designed to improve the way people communicate. Currently
available on all Aastra SIP phones running SIP 2.3 firmware, the
initial set of myAastra services will enhance the way you access and
use your contact lists, provide quick access to a number of
